Supplier Identification: This website, www.watchesunlimited.co.za (“the Website”) is owned and operated by Watches For Africa CC based in South Africa trading as Watches Unlimited and with registration number 94/22661/23. Watches Unlimited is a business in the retail industry that supplies watches, clocks and associated products and offers product for long service awards and watch repairs.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:
2.1 By accessing the website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which can be amended at any time by Watches Unlimited in its sole discretion and without notice. Watches Unlimited permits the use of this Website subject to the Terms and Conditions.
2.2 These Terms and Conditions apply to users who are consumers for purposes of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended or must be understood to unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any right or obligation, as the case may be, created for either you or Watches Unlimited in terms of the CPA.
Sales in South Africa only:
3.1 Our site is only intended for use by people resident in South Africa. We do not accept orders from individuals outside of South Africa.
3.2 By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
3.2.1 you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
3.2.2 you are at least 18 years old or that if you are below 18 that you have permission of your parent or guardian to use the website and buy goods through the website.
3.2.3 you are resident in South Africa; and
3.2.4 you are accessing our site from South Africa.

Billing and personal information:
5.1 In order to purchase goods from this website you will need to register an online account and provide certain personal and billing information. You must provide accurate registration information when you register an account. Watches Unlimited shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. You must notify Watches Unlimited immediately if there is any unauthorized use of or access to your account. Watches Unlimited will not be responsible for any unauthorized use of your user name and password or for any losses that you suffer as a result and you will be responsible for any purchases made using your account, where you have failed to keep your user name and password secure and confidential.
5.2 For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.
5.3 Customer details will be stored by Watches Unlimited separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Order process:
Your order will be subject to availability of the item ordered. In the event that the item is unavailable then Watches Unlimited has the right to cancel your order and you will be refunded the purchase price. Watches Unlimited reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a technical error in pricing or in product information displayed on the website.
Delivery policy
7.1 Subject to availability and receipt of payment, your order will normally be delivered in 5 – 7 working days after you have placed your order. In any event, the order will be fulfilled within 30 days of the date of the Despatch Confirmation unless there are exceptional circumstances.
7.2 Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, excluding holidays during regular working hours.
7.3 Delivery shall always be made to the payment card-holder’s address. Watches Unlimited will not be liable for an incorrect delivery where you have made an error and provided an incorrect delivery address.
7.4 Products will be delivered to you via a reliable tracker courier company and will require a signature from the person taking collection of the item at your delivery address. This signature will amount to confirmation that delivery has taken place.
7.5 Current delivery charges will be displayed at the checkout and included in your total order amount.
7.6 We will email you with a tracking number as soon as the order has been processed. In order to find out the status of your order you can contact Watches Unlimited for details (please see contact details clause)
Returns, Exchanges and Refunds policy
8.1 The provision of goods and services by Watches Unlimited is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Watches Unlimited will refund the client in full within 30 days.
8.2 In the event of receiving damaged goods kindly contact Watches Unlimited and arrange to return the product to Watches Unlimited. Upon receipt of the product Watches Unlimited will assess whether it is faulty and should it find that the product is indeed faulty then Watches Unlimited undertakes to replace the product with a similar item or if none is available to refund you.
8.3 Should an item need repair under the stipulated warranty, kindly contact our head office directly.
8.4 Watches Unlimited will exchange a product that is significantly different to the product described. In the event that the item described is not available then Watches Unlimited will exchange the item for another of your choice or refund you the purchase price.
8.5 In the event of an exchange Watches Unlimited will refund you the original purchase price of the returned item in the same method used by you to make the payment and using the same payment method will charge you the value of the new item.
8.6 Items can be exchanged under certain circumstances and at the discretion of Watches Unlimited provided that such exchange is made within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase thereof. Items can also be exchanged at any of our stores. There will be no returns or exchanges of worn or used products. Upon receipt of the product it will be inspected and if it appears to be worn or used it will be returned to you at your own cost.
8.6 Products must be returned to us by a means of a reliable trackable courier company and must by insured to the value of the Products. Products must be returned by a method that requires a signature from us to acknowledge our receipt of the returned Products. Alternatively we will arrange for collection at your cost.
8.7 When you return a Product to us:
8.7.1 in the event that you have cancelled the Contract between us within the 14 day cooling-off period , we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. In this case, we will refund the price of the Product in full. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
8.7.2 for any other reason permitted on our Returns and Exchanges page, we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of any refund to which you are entitled via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund for the defective Product. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including the reasonable cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
8.8 Refunds will be made using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
Warranties and Repairs:
9.1 The following warranties are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, terms of conditions, express, implied or statutory, as to any matter whatsoever, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, satisfactory quality, title, and non-infringement, all of which are expressly disclaimed by Watches Unlimited. We shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages or liabilities of any kind arising out of or in connection with the sale or use of this product, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence, strict product liability or any other theory, even if Watches Unlimited has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if any limited remedy specified herein is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose. Watches Unlimited entire liability shall be limited to replacement or repair of the purchase price paid, at Watches Unlimited sole discretion.
9.2 Your WATCHES UNLIMITED watch is warranted by for a period of two (2) years, unless otherwise stipulated, from the original date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The International warranty covers mechanical and manufacturing defects. A copy of the invoice and stamped warranty booklet is required for proof of purchase.
9.3 During the warranty period, the watch movement, hands, and dial are the only components covered under this warranty. A covered component will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of repair charge if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use.
9.4 In case of replacement, Watches Unlimited cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact same model watch. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value or similar style will be provided. The warranty for the replacement watch ends two (2) years from the date the replacement watch is received.
9.5 The warranty does not cover:
9.5.1 crystal, strap or bracelet
9.5.2 damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear
9.5.3 water damage unless marked water-resistant (5 ATM or above)
9.3.4 indirect or consequential damage resulting from the defects or inaccuracy or inoperativeness of the watch
9.6 For service work that is not covered under this warranty, the service centre may perform the services you request for a charge dependent on watch style and type of work requested. These charges are subject to change. Such charges will be notified and agreed by you prior to performing the services.

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Watches Unlimited bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Watches Unlimited via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).v
Exclusion of Liability
It is a term and condition of this website that your usage of the website is entirely at you own risk. Watches Unlimited does not warrant that the functions provided by this site will be uninterrupted or error free of that the site is free from viruses or other harmful components.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Watches Unlimited chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Unit 3, 8 Richefond Circle, Ridgeside Office Park, Umhlanga.
Termination
Watches Unlimited has the right to suspend your access to the website without further notice to you should you fail to comply with these terms and conditions.
Competitions
16.1 The winners will be drawn during the week after the closing date and contacted via phone or email.
16.2 Competitions are only applicable within the country of South Africa
16.3 Should the winner not respond within 2 weeks of being contacted they will forfeit their claim to the prize.
16.4 Prizes are not transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item
16.5 Watches Unlimited and our affiliates are not responsible for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer, mobile telephone or other device used by you to enter into, or obtain any materials related to, the competition.
16.6 Any costs or expenses which you may incur other than in respect of those items specifically included in a prize are for your own account. Watches Unlimited will not be responsible for any costs or expenses which you, or your partner (if applicable), incur during and for purposes of your entry into the competition and your acceptance and/or use of a prize.
